“Pastor Tom” has served as Senior Pastor of RPC since 1994. He is
a native of Birmingham, Alabama – although most of his early years were spent in the
Philadelphia area. Graduating from Wheaton College in 1979, Tom enrolled in Westminster
Theological Seminary to study for the ministry. After serving as a ruling elder in
his home congregation of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Willow Grove, he received
a call to serve as pastor of Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Baltimore, Maryland.
Ordained to the gospel ministry in 1984, Tom pastored this congregation until his call
to come to Reformed Presbyterian Church of Ephrata.
Tom’s faithful and sensitive handling of the Word of God in grace-based preaching is a
hallmark of his ministry at RPC. His deep desire is to see the gospel made known – in
word and deed – not only within the church, but in the community as well.
