How are we set up?
Special Needs Ministry at RPC is set up as "a ministry that works across the
other ministries of the church." While we have a Special Needs Committee our
goal is not to be another "layer" of ministry. We work with all the ministries
of the church to assist them in including people with disabilities into whatever
they do, and to effectively reach out to families affected by disability. In order
to do this, we provide resources, guidance, education and training. At RPC our aim
is for a disability ministry that is not a separate ministry of the church, but an
integrated ministry of the whole church.
The members of the Special Needs Committee are Alison Carzola, Patty Coiner, Roger Coiner,
Fred Hubach, Steph Hubach (chairperson) and Nancy Laudermilch.
