WE CARE Ministry

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. — Galations 6:2

WE CARE is an extended pastoral care of our lay congregation to our church members. Visiting those who are going through a time of difficulty. Sharing Christ’s love by being there to listen on a weekly or monthly basis for about an hour.

Working with our Elders, Deacons and Laity it organizes and consolidates RPC’s pastoral visitations under one umbrella group.

It is an extension of our Deacons to provide confidential, one to one Christian care. To provide the emotional and spiritual care we need when faced with a crisis or difficulty, such as the loss of a loved one, hospitalization, shut-in’s, illness or loneliness. Physical and spiritual needs are made known to our Deacons and/or Elders.

WE CARE MINISTRY is a confidential ministry. The identity of those receiving care and what takes place in each caring relationship remains private.

Currently we manage a Welcome Center and have Greeters at both entrance doors. Greeters happily welcome both members of our church and visitors. They provide information about RPC to new guests and welcome them with a “Welcome Bag.”

WE CARE MINISTRY has a loving heart for all through the love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus.
